COURSE OUTLINE

MOTOR CONTROL COULD BE THE LIMITING FACTOR IN SPORTS PERFORMANCE!

There are four main barriers to the quality and quantity of performance. These barriers include mobility and motor control, flanked by two others. Every training session has opportunities for improved mobility & motor control to enhance performance.  The top fitness professionals know when and how to break through the four barriers to robustness and performance capacity, including motor control and mobility.

You too can learn systematic motor control to support exercise performance, with supportive mobility techniques, enhancing the sensory rich environment to support reflex-driven, context-specific stability.

Mobility and stability for exercise performance is a two-day highly practical course targeting the trunk, upper and lower quarters and linking movements and exercises to improve mobility and motor control, supporting performance.

The course provides important mobility techniques to self-reset restrictions, with static and dynamic stability cueing strategies to express better patterns that underpin exercise performance.

Over the course of this two-day course, we’ll explore the modern technical models for mobility and stability for performance. From both a theoretical and practical perspective, the goal is to provide you with an understanding of how to use mobility and stability to stay in the game longer, allowing greater training capacity.

The Mobility and Stability for Performance Course aims to provide three things:
  1. A practical introduction, review or advancement of strategies to improve mobility
  2. A practical introduction, review or advancement of strategies to improve motor control.
  3. A practical understanding of the links between mobility, stability, motor control and performance through the concept of position, patterns and power.
